AWS Certification

The AWS Certification project provides an opportunity for students to earn an official certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner.

How does the certification work?
Students study together for 1-2 hours a week over 5 weeks, where they learn the program from our certification instructors. After those 5 weeks, they will individually take Amazon's AWS Cloud Practitioner exam.

There are two classes offered each week that cover the same material. They are on Thursdays at 7:30pm and Fridays at 10:00am. Classes start on February 6th and 7th.

The course is $15, and the exam comes with a $100 fee.

Having an official certification helps students stand out to employers by providing proof of proficiency in a program.
AWS, or Amazon Web Services, is a secured cloud services platform that offers compute power, database storage, content delivery and various other functionalities. It is the most widely adopted cloud solution, and is used by a huge amount of large companies, startups, and government entities.
